Technical Expertise I apply a range of instructional design and facilitation methodologies to create and deliver structured, learner-focused programs. Using **ADDIE**, I conduct thorough needs assessments, design engaging content, and evaluate program effectiveness. I use Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction and Constructivist principles ensures that learners actively engage with the material and construct their own understanding, fostering deeper retention and skill development.
Unique Perspective My careers in education, professional communications and business journalism give me a unique perspective when designing and delivering learning programs. Each career taught me how to research and analyze information grasp complex information quickly develop audience awareness communicate effectively and engage audiences. For example, I worked with subject matter experts when writing business news stories on topics including bankruptcy, creating curricula for new courses, and creating a professional development program on neurodiversity. I learned to analyze, modify, and present information for various audiences by modifying and teaching the same course for different ages, developing training programs for people in various stages of their careers, and writing business stories for investors, business professionals and local communities.
